The Heipa Elderly Board meets twice a month. Contact the board members or the district center for meeting information.

ELDERLY BIRTHDAYS
According to the Heipa District Elderly Policies and Procedures:
The Heipa District Elderly are allowed one general welfare request per year, to be dispersed during the Elder's birthday month. The Elders must submit an application, the Heipa District Request Form, to the Heipa District Coordinator, along with a self-addressed stamped envelope before the end of their birthday month. The general welfare birthday checks will be dispersed on the 15th of each month. On-Reservation Heipa Elders can pick up their birthday checks in person at the Heipa District Center. Off-Reservation Heipa Elders will have their birthday checks mailed to them, in the self-addressed stamped envelope they submitted with their application.
Effective January 1, 2019, the following benefits are in place:

Elderly members 55 years to 64 years will receive $50.00

Elderly members 65 years or older will receive $100.00
Heipa District Elderly must submit their completed application before the end of their birthday month in order to receive a birthday check. **NO EXCEPTIONS**
